It's never too late to start. Put away a little bit of money each month. Anything is better than nothing.

Your money should be working for you, but in order for it to do that, you need to start respecting it and treating it right. This means stop impulse buying, shop the sales, and live within - or below - your means. Comparison is the thief of joy.

Learn to be happy with less stuff and focus on gaining investments and assets instead of shoes and social outings.

Educate yourself. I believe money management should be taught in schools, but it's not. Therefore, you have to talk to your children about money and you have to learn about it yourself. There are a lot of great resources out there, including books, blogs and engaging influencers on social media. I'll share some of my favorites who have made the biggest difference in my life:
